Hey guys, isn't it time for a web site change of look or
something? I mean, yoursite looks really nice,
but you haven't changed the layout in years! |
2 years is a long time to go without a change of scenery, n'est pas
vrai? Realizing that it was time to do something, the
HTML Swiss Army Knife rolled up his sleeves and
went to work.
After weeks spent scribbing in his sketch pad, slicing and
dicing mockups in Photoshop, and pounding out lines of
HTML code (and taking occasional breaks playing
the trés-cool GRAN TURISMO), the
HTML Knife emerged from his foxhole with a grin
and a sparkle in his eye. Eureka!
Without further ado, here's the new look and feel for
EX. Thumbs up? Thumbs down? Drop us a line at
ex@apricot.com and speak your mind.
And speaking of two years...

Taking a break from production, sipping on some earl grey, and watching
the cheesy-yet-cool GAOGAIGAR, the
HTML Swiss Army Knife realized that it has been
two years since EX got off to a humble start.
To our faithful readers, and to everyone who supported
EX during our two-year run: Thanks for sticking
with us. We promise to keep up the effort.
To my fellow coworkers at EX: It
was the best of times, it was the worst of times. It's cool to work
with you guys, and I look forward to another year of publishing.
And to the pesky critics who predicted that
EX would go the way of
the dodo: We've
come this far, and we aren't stopping.
Coming next issue...

The first midwestern anime convention, AnimeCentral '98 got off
to its first start in Chicago on April 3-5. EX was
on location and interviewed the "obsessed with guns, girls, cars, and
Chicago" Sonoda Kenichi. A write-up of the convention and the
interview will be forthcoming next issue.
Also: Do You Remember Macross? It has been 15 years
since Lynn Minmay's singing captivated the heart of many a fan.
EX focuses on the series SUPER
DIMENSION FORTRESS MACROSS.
See you in six weeks!
